Football Coaching

This venture is going down a treat. Matt is qualified to coach football to young people of all ages, so he is taking this to the local Secondary Schools. Currently, he is coaching teams at Alec Hunter and Tabor Science College but hopes to increase this work in the future.

  Please pray into this venture, that relationships are built with young people and he continues to seek God's guidance (and that ligaments remain untorn!).

Dance Classes
Sarah is qualified to teach dance, and has held weekly lesson at most of the secondary schools. She is currently working at Ramsey and Notley and getting a healthy attendance at both schools. Please pray, like Matt, for building of relationships and reputation in the schools.

After-school clubs
We were approached some years ago by Bocking URC, who had a desire for an after-school club to start in their church hall, particularly for those from the local primary school. Unfortunately, the church aren't too well-equipped with youth leaders who were able to start the club and so approached Olive & Sheena. The club has now been running since Christmas 2003, and is getting a healthy attendance of around 30 children (and growing!).
  Since September 2004, cYo have taken on the club themselves, with Bocking URC kindly providing the venue for us. This was a new venture for us, one that is going very well and receiving lots of support from the schools, church and the rest of cYo.
